The Generalitat Valenciana has extended the validity of the Free Youth Temporary Pass -with which those under 30 years of age can travel for free on the Alicante TRAM- for 15 more days, until January 15, 2023, due to strong demand. As a mandatory requirement, you must request a new card.

FGV has also planned to reinforce the staffing of its stations to expedite the distribution of the new passes, although it has ruled out, for reasons of public order and security, facilitating the delivery of these tickets without a prior appointment. This measure complements all the savings initiatives in public transport launched by the Generalitat since the beginning of the year to promote sustainable mobility, alleviate citizens' expenses and combat the effects of inflation.
Since June, a simplification of the TRAM d'Alacant area map has also been applied, which has allowed prices to be reduced by up to 50%; has provided free transportation on Sundays in May and August; and an additional discount of 30% applies from September 1 to December 31, which remains in force for the rest of the users.
All users who want to travel for free will have to have this new temporary card, regardless of whether they have another type of personalized pass. To request the card, all you need is the DNI, which will prove the age of the applicant.
